Kite Fighter is a multiplayer kite flying simulator, played on mobile.

Focus:

– Gameplay
– Front-End (Main Menu, Kite, etc.)

Update Log:

– New logic for being defeated by hitting the ground.
– New logic for colliding with another kite string; The system will now determine the victor depending on whos kite is higher in the sky upon impact.
– When you are defeated a UI txt notification will appear
– A particle effect will now play at the location of the kite string impact.
– The camera rotation has been adjusted to prevent it from colliding with the terrain
– The camera will now add a small local Z-axis offset when its game over – in order to keep the camera from clipping terrain.
– Players can use Start Game from the main menu, to create a session/lobby. If the match has other human players it will travel to the playmap with all players. If it doesn’t – the match will start as single player. 
– Players can now select their kite from the main menu, instead of every time a match is started. 
– A bunch of bug fixes / scaling fixes.
– Simple logic for wind was added; The kite will now be affected by the wind, which will change randomly every 4 seconds by varying small increments.

Gameplay Suggestions:

– A material shader which will render the leaves of trees transparent depending on the distance to the camera. (Closer = more transparent)
– A game mode where all players have 3 lives. Instead of being defeated on kite string collsion = push both players & remove 1 life. At 0 lives remaining, the player is defeated.
– A sidebar widget which can view the camera of your opponent?
– Power ups that give you more speed, invincibility, etc. Floating in the sky?
– Ability to swap to other active players camera when its dead
